We are a cross faculty department linking teaching, research and PhD-training within the three faculties of Social Sciences, Engineering and Medicine.
Our research and teaching cover business administration and economics including: organization and strategy, accounting, auditing, international business and marketing, creativity and innovation, entrepreneurship and business models, operations management, economics, and health economics.
Problem Based Learning (PBL) combined with project organized group work is the basic teaching and learning model for all our study programs. In both teaching and research we combine theory and practice and emphasize collaboration with companies and public sector organizations.
The paper "A Typology of Reverse Innovation" by assistant professor Peder Veng Søberg, Center for Industrial Production, Aalborg University, (and co-authors) has been selected by the Editorial Board of the Journal of Product Innovation Management as the winner of the 2015 JPIM Best Paper.
