Research and teaching at our department cover business administration and economics including: organization and strategy, accounting, auditing, international business and marketing, creativity and innovation, entrepreneurship and business models, operations management, economics, and health economics.
Problem Based Learning (PBL) combined with project organized group work is the basic teaching and learning model for all our study programs. In both teaching and research we combine theory and practice and emphasize collaboration with companies and public sector organizations.
Associate Professor Dmitrij Slepniov reached the list again in 2016-2017 with his teaching case about the LEGO outsourcing journey. The work was based on Dmitrij’s longitudinal research with LEGO.

In June 2017, the department hosted a PhD summer school on the role of universities in regional development. The summer school was part of the European Union’s Horizon 2020-funded project, RUNIN.
