The IKE Group at Department of Business and Management at Aalborg University is celebrating its 40-year’s anniversary by hosting a 1-day seminar for its present and former members, associates and invited guests.
24.05.2017 kl. 09.00 - 18.00
The IKE Group was established in 1977 by researchers from Aalborg University in collaboration with researchers from national and international research contexts. The focus of the research group is innovation, knowledge and economic dynamics at different levels of aggregation.
Throughout the years, the research group has contributed to the development of the National Innovation system agenda, and the IKE research environment has been an incubator for young scholars who have developed strong academic careers. The group continues to contribute to international research agendas and its core members have established several new initiatives, including Globelics and Impact.
We want to take this opportunity to celebrate the history and the achievements of the IKE group as well as to take stock of current activities with a view also into the future. The program reflects these aspirations:

09.00: Welcome and greetings by Jesper Lindgaard Christensen
09.15: Opening speech by Professor Bengt-Åke Lundvall
10.00: How the IKE Group has contributed to our research careers (Professor Mette Præst, SDU; Associate Professor Bram Timmermans, Norwegian School of Economics)
