Head of Department Birgitte Gregersen welcomed the participants at the seminar and described the purpose of the book-launching seminars: The idea is to create an opportunity for the department’s researchers to learn more about each other's work in order to stimulate collaboration and exchange of ideas within and across research groups at the department.

A tradition is established
The attendance at the seminar was a bit low, but a tradition is established and the department will organise a book-launching seminar twice a year.
After Svetla's and Marin's presentations, the department hosted a small reception where the participants had the opportunity to discuss the presented books, themes or potential ideas for contributions to future books.
