Department of Business and Management at Aalborg University (AAU) offers education and conducts research within the main areas of business economics, macroeconomics and health economics. Problem Based Learning (PBL) is in the core of the activities at the department where we combine theory and practice - often in cooperation with private companies and public institutions.
About the department
Research at the department is organised in research groups within the following areas:
- organisation and strategy
- financial management and accounting
- international business economics and marketing
- innovation and creativity
- entrepreneurship and business models
- impact analysis
- health economics
In addition the department is in charge of two PhD programmes, one for business economics and one for innovation.
Education and programmes
Education at the department is organised in School of Business and Economics (bachelor's and master's programmes) and AAU Executive, School of Business and Social Sciences (part-time programmes).
